Week Notes 12 May 2017

We kicked off the first of many design sprints as a way of teaching local government how to become user centred with Adur & Worthing Council's.

Throughout 2017 we will be working with various teams in collaboration with the digital unit at Adur & Worthing Councils as part of their Digital Transformation programme.

This week we ran our first design sprint with the Housing Solutions team, the challenge, take the current paper-only application process for the housing register for both councils and make it digital-first.

Experience Mapping Workshop

After our kick-off meeting last week to establish which part of the Housing Solutions service we were going to review first, our first step was to get ourselves familiarised with the end-to-end process a person(s) must go through in order to find out whether they are eligible to be added to the local housing register, and if so, how to apply and find a new home.
